When I was invited to curate the Borås International Sculpture biennial I hesitated for many reasons. It had been a very draining year on a personal level, and to undertake a big project when you are exhausted is not the smartest. Second of all, the oportunity seemed a little too good to be true. I guess I'm jaded. Thirdly, there was just not enough time to make a proper result. I agreed to take on the challenge in October last year, even though I could not actively start working with the project until January this year. Thanks to a great team work and loads of help from the team at Borås Konstmuseum, and an incredible support from the director Eva Eriksdotter, we pulled it off - an indoor exhibition at the museum with 14 artists, and an outdoor sculpture exhibition with 10 works, and we produced 11 new works, managed to produce a catalog, and the curator at the musum, Anna Lönnquist, curated a brilliant show in collaboration with "my" show named "A Cat's Tail" featuring 15 great Swedish artists represented in the collection of Borås Konstumseum.
